Win a free Boo Boo Kiss!!

When a boo-boo happens, nothings better than a kiss and some sympathy from someone close by...but sometimes that's not enough.

Boo-Boo Kisses are designed specifically to help take the pain away from your child's boo-boo's.

Boo-Boo Kisses come in many different colorful fabrics. Very appealing the eye and comfortable so your child will want to use it. The fabric is soft and durable for many, many uses.

Keep 1 or 2 in the freezer, or toss one in the microwave for 10-15 seconds(depending on your microwave).
Cold/Warm packs for baby's boo-boos.
Much less shocking to baby's skin than ice packs.

Go to my website www.CaitiMacCreations.com and choose which Boo-Boo Kiss is your favorite, leave a comment on my blog and one lucky winner will win the boo-boo kiss of their choice. Contest ends Monday July 6th.

Good luck!

One the Road with my Clingy Cord

We just arrived back home in Indiana after a long 2 week trip to visit family in Pennsylvania. It was a long 10 hour drive with 3 kids under the age of 4 1/2 and let me tell you how lucky I feel to have invented such a handy product, the Clingy Cord. My son is at the ripe age of 22 months and he is a little bugger in the car. He doesn't like to sit still for more than a few minutes so a nice 10 hour drive was unbearable for him. We finally were able to calm him down with his pacifier and blanket and this is how he fell asleep. Holding on to his precious blanket that was securely fastened to his clingy cord. It is a handy product to have for any trip on the road whether it be a short one or a long cross country drive. We used it for his pacifier, sippy cup and toy train. I'd love to see some ways you use your clingy cord in the car. Please send your pictures to me at CaitiMacCreations@yahoo.com

Have a safe and happy summer!

Memorial Day Weekend in our new city

My family and I had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend in our new home in Indianapolis. We've been here for almost a year however, it feels like we moved yesterday. My husband and I were able to find babysitters for all of our kids so we could go to Carb Day at the track. It was a great experience to see how fast those cars really go. We also got to see 3 Door Down and drink a little with out friends. Saturday we took the family to the Indy 500 parade in Indianapolis. The kids loved seeing all the cars, the bands and the balloons. We also got to witness 2 Police Officers crash their bikes right in front of us while performing a stunt. Luckily everyone was ok. Sunday we had a good ol' family b-bque in the back yard with burgers and dogs and a water sprinkler.

Now it's back to the daily grind we call life! Lots of sewing to be done today but I definitely can't complain. Please check my website for new burp cloth patterns.

Wallababy Slings

If you are looking for a sling Wallababy makes the BEST Slings around! I had a pouch sling from my son and I tried to put my 12 week old daughter in it and she hated it. I was hesitant about trying an adjustable sling because I didn't like all the extra fabric. Well, once I put it on and realized that I could hold my daughter in numerous positions I instantly fell in love with it. My 12 week old daughter loves to lay on my chest and with the Wallababy Sling she can snuggle up on my chest and sleep for hours. The fabric is so soft and it is lightweight so I don't sweat in it. They are handmade by a mom and she has a variety of prints. Her website is www.Wallababy.com. Check it out and please tell her that I sent you!

Blogging

Ok, so I am new to this whole blogging thing but I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not the best at writing so my stories will be short and sweet. I will try to keep them interesting but don't hold me to it. So here I go.....

Recap on Easter. We had a wonderful day full of Easter Candy, Egg Hunts, Family, Food, more Easter Candy, and Fun. I hosted dinner to approx 30+ family members. Luckily everyone brought a dish. We had an easter egg hunt in the back yard and managed not to get our kids too hopped up on candy.

It's Monday and my husband is traveling again for the week. I met some great new friends for lunch and now I'm procrastinating sewing for my first Expo this weekend. If you live in the Indy area come check out my booth at the Women's and Food Expo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
